- Ensures RTCC operations, data sharing, and technology use comply with agency policy, state and federal laws, privacy standards, and CJIS requirements;
- Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new technologies, analytical tools, and data sources to enhance RTCC capabilities;
- Assists with implementation, testing, and training for new RTCC systems or platforms;
- Coordinates with local, state, and federal partners to support intelligence sharing, joint operations, and regional RTCC initiatives;
- Acts as the primary liaison for RTCC technology and analytical platforms, including Fusus and License Plate Reader (LPR) systems;
- Serves as the database administrator and auditor for investigative programs, analytical tools, and databases utilized within the RTCC and by other agency personnel;
- Reviews, approves, and ensures quality control of analytical and intelligence products produced by RTCC Specialists prior to dissemination;
- Prepares and delivers PowerPoint presentations and analytical briefings for weekly CRIMEMAPS meetings, new hire training, public outreach events, etc.;
- Participates in agency meetings, regional collaborations, and training opportunities to support the continued growth and advancement of the RTCC;
- Serves as a subject matter expert for RTCC operations and technology, supporting agency-wide adoption and effective use;
- Prepares, analyzes, and disseminates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical and analytical reports as requested or required;
- Serves as the primary liaison with the Special Operations Commander for coordination, operational integration, and continued development of the Drone as First Responder (DFR) program;
- Supervises, mentors, and provides ongoing training to RTCC specialists to ensure professional development, operational readiness, and compliance with agency standards;
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Selection Criteria:

- Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma recognized by the State of Florida; AND
- Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Forensics, Computer Science or related field; OR
- Two (2) years’ experience in Real Time Crime Center Analysis or related (preferably in Public Sector); AND
- Must be off of a probationary period with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office; AND
- Must have received no formal discipline in the last eighteen (18) months.
